Saulo visits the Mad Tiger Academy!
On December 23rd, co-f0under and head of the Ribeiro Jiu Jitsu Association, Saulo Ribeiro, did a phenomenal seminar for association members and invited guest. Saulo started off with a very effective and efficient warm up that got every one sweating. He then went into the technique portion, after the first sequence (guard posture, a few techniques to open closed guard, and a pass) every one was blown away. This was followed by more knowledge than any one could handle! Of all the seminars I have been too, this was one of the very few where every one drilled non stop and would have kept drilling if there was more time! Speaking of time, although the seminar was scheduled for 3 hours, Saulo taught well beyond that to the delight of every one in attendance. At the end, he took questions and than talked philosophy of the association, jiu jitsu and how it relates to life.
A black belt is a white belt who never quit training, every day we are at the gym we are either closer to our black belt or closer to quitting, train smart, train right, keep training, and most importantly enjoy the journey! Great words of wisdom!!
Needless to say we look forward to having Saulo out again in 2012!!!!
